My first scrapbook experience was only a year ago!

It's been almost a year since I discovered the experience of scrapbooking. My son was a Cub Scout about to cross over to Boy Scouts. I had hundreds of photo's on the computer of Pine Wood Derbys, Raingutter Regattas, den meetings. As a gift for his Blue and Gold banquet I decided to make him a scrapbook. A good friend of mine was running a crop at the school and suggested I come to make this book. What a great idea! 10 hours of uninterupted picture glueing! Just what I needed. I went to Michael's, I think my first time in the store, used a coupon and got a Cub Scout scrapbook. I looked inside, 10 page protectors, should be enough I thought! Later that night sat down at my computer, logged onto Walmart.com to upload my photo's. Hmmm....300 pictures...could that be right? Well, I guess, it's 5 years worth of photo's. Pick them up at Walmart, find some decorative edge scirrors my kids had, had some cardstock and headed to the crop w/ a bag full of stuff. When I walked in, someone asked if I needed the palet to take the car for all my stuff. No silly! All I need is what it's in this bag! 10 hours later, 20 finished layouts and we were only on his Wolf year! But after seeing all the fabulous layouts others were creating, I was hooked. The next day I ran to AC Moore and purchased a ton of stuff. Now I need 2 trips to the car w/ the palet for all my supplies, what a difference a year makes!
